Sure, you've heard it before. You've heard that our God is big and mighty. You've heard that our God can do anything! Yet, in the middle of tribulation, we seem to forget who God is and what he is capable of. Let us, today, remember who God is.
We serve a God who can do anything. He is possible of everything and anything, as noted by Luke 1:37 and Philippians 4:13.
Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Luke 1:37 King James Version (KJV)
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Our God is willing to grant us anything if we would just ask in his name.
Luke 11:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
John 14:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
We, as God's people, forget how big our God is. God is the one who spoke this world into existence. God is the one who made your life and your future. Earth is likened unto a footstool in front of God. Do you not realize that he is the king of the world? He made you, your siblings, your parents, and he even made all those people you don't know. He has a plan and future for all of them.
Jeremiah 29:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Philippians 4:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
We need to know that we serve the king of the world. And we need not to limit him or pull him down to our level.
