I'm sure most of us say we're Christians. But, are you really a Christian? Take your time to read this post and ask yourself.

1. If You Are A Christian, You Will Be Different and Holy.

2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV) 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Leviticus 11:44 King James Version (KJV) 44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy:

Romans 12:2 King James Version (KJV)

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2. If you are a Christian, you will not continue in sin.

Romans 6:1-2 King James Version (KJV) 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3. If you are a Christian, you will be on God’s side only.

Matthew 6:24 King James Version (KJV)

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Revelation 3:15-16 King James Version (KJV) 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

4. If you are a Christian, you will have the right friends.

1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV) 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Proverbs 17:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 King James Version (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

5. If you are a Christian, you will follow God’s laws.

John 14:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 John 2:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Proverbs 13:1 King James Version (KJV)

1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

This lesson may offend some people, but the Word of God does not lie.

Hebrews 4:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

As Christians, we need to make sure that we are in the right. We need not to be like false prophets.

Matthew 7:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Let us examine ourselves according to God’s word.

2 Corinthians 13:5 King James Version (KJV)

5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
