We often ask the question, "Who are we?" Today is the day that question is answered. By the time this lesson ends, you will know who you are in Christ. Not only that, you will learn an important lesson. First, I'd like you to watch this video that I have found.

This video mentions only a few identities of Christ that we have. There are plenty more, but these are the basic ones that I am going to talk about.

Child of God: John 1:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

*[[Rom 8:14-15]] KJV* For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Holy and Blameless: [[1Th 5:23]] KJV* And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wise and Restored: 1 Corinthians 1:30 King James Version (KJV) 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

New Creation: 2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV) 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Chosen: Ephesians 1:4 King James Version (KJV) 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

*[[Joh 15:16]] KJV* Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

*[[Isa 43:10]] KJV* Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Masterpiece: Ephesians 2:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

*[[Gen 1:31]] KJV* And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Loved: Romans 8:35-39 King James Version (KJV) 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Made Complete: 2 Corinthians 12:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

And so, I hope that I have blessed someone through this lesson. I just want us all to focus on who we are in Christ and not compare ourselves nor care what others think. The Bible says that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) and it also says that those who "compare themselves among themselves" are "not wise". So always remember these things.
